At 16 years old, Geneviève falls in love with Costa Rica and a few years later with chocolate. Charmed by the scenery and the possibility of having her own plantation, Geneviève dreams of a distinctive cocoa. She follows her heart and purchases a cocoa plantation in 2007 on the south side of Costa Rica in the region of Palmar.
After many years of experiments, she is finally ready for her first harvest.
In august 2013, Geneviève is on location and is able to make her own harvest, and tries her hand in drying and fermentation. She comes back with a small quantity and introduces the Carré Costa Rica.
Geneviève’s passion is not limited to creating high end chocolates, she dreams of transforming the beans and master the chocolate from the plantation to the savouring!
From there on, anything is possible…
